Ahmad Rashad (/ ə ˈ m ɑː d r ə ˈ ʃ ɑː d / ə-MAHD rə-SHAHD; born Robert Earl Moore; November 19, 1949) is an American sportscaster and former professional football wide receiver. He was the fourth overall selection of the 1972 NFL draft , taken by the St. Louis Cardinals .
