Mach GoGoGo (マッハGoGoGo, Mahha GōGōGō), sometimes referred to as New Mach GoGoGo (新・マッハGoGoGo, Shin Mahha GōGōGō), is a 1997 remake of the 1967 anime series of the same name (aired as Speed Racer in the U.S.) by Tatsunoko Production, the original producers.
This was a remake produced in Japan in 1997 and was the second TV series broadcast in Japan. The title in Japan is Mach GoGoGo, and overseas it is called Speed Racer Y2K, Speed Racer X, or Mach Go Go Go: Restart. The design of Mach Five follows the front part of the previous body shape, but the rear part has been significantly modified.

The New Adventures of Speed Racer is a 1993 update of the Speed Racer animated series. [1] This new Americanized version was designed as a single 13-episode season (the first episode was entitled “The Mach 5’s First Trial”), with the intent of launching a feature film adaptation.
By the early 1990s, the Speed Racer anime had achieved a cult following in the United States due to twice-daily airings on MTV.This inspired Accolade to develop the DOS title Speed Racer in The Challenge of Racer X, and to further produce Speed Racer titles for the Super NES and Sega Genesis.
The series follows the adventures of an orphan teenager named Speed who dreams of being a famed car racer like the one he is named after. He takes a bus to the elite Racing Academy, founded by the Racer family, and soon experiences the difficulties of fitting in and competing with X, the best racer/student in the school, and Speed Racer's son.
