The 2021 St. Louis mayoral election occurred in two stages, with a unified primary on March 2, 2021, and a two-candidate general election on April 6, 2021. [1] The election was the first in the nation to use approval voting for a primary. [ 2 ]
The elections coincided with the U.S. presidential election, as well as other elections to the House of Representatives, elections to the United States Senate, and various state and local elections. Florida's congressional map is currently being challenged in court. Primary elections took place on August 20.
