The Marikina River (Tagalog: Ilog Marikina) is a waterway in eastern Metro Manila, Philippines. It is the largest tributary of the Pasig River , with headwaters in the Sierra Madre Mountains in what was known as Montalban , presently the municipality of Rodriguez, Rizal .
