They Only Come Out at Night is the debut studio album by American rock band The Edgar Winter Group, released in November 1972 by Epic Records. [3] [4] A commercial success, the album reached #3 on the US Billboard 200 chart and features the band's signature songs, "Frankenstein" and "Free Ride".
British female vocalist Kim Wilde recorded a version of the song on her 2013 holiday album Wilde Winter Songbook. French Canadian artist, Celine Dion covered the song during a Facebook Live event on her official page, December 1, 2016. The song was used in the 2018 The CW reboot of Charmed episode "Jingle Hell", at the end of the episode.
