Owen Hart has had one of the most unfortunate deaths. His death occurred while Owen was performing as the Blue Blazer. Since this was some sort of superhero gimmick, they would have him be lowered into the ring from a harness. But, on May 23, 1999 at the WWF Over The Edge PPV, he was supposed to be lowered down to the ring by the harness.
