I am of the opinion that this is an important topic. I had, in my misspent youth, acquired many books and booklets denouncing all modern Bible versions - anything other than the KJV - on the flimsiest and most unscientific of pretexts, including the omission of phrases and verses which were very obviously unsupported by manuscript evidence.
