Kwame Raoul (/ ˈ k w ɑː m eɪ r ɑː ˈ uː l /, born September 30, 1964) is an American lawyer and politician who has been the 42nd Attorney General of Illinois since 2019. He is a member of the Democratic Party. [1] Raoul represented the 13th district in the Illinois Senate from 2004 to 2019.
