Bogart Raymond Leashore Jr. (August 31, 1947 – June 26, 2007) was an American sociologist, social worker, and academic administrator who served as the dean of the Hunter College school of social work from 1991 to 2003. He was previously the associate dean of the Howard University school of social work.

Hunter College Elementary School was created in 1940 as an experimental school for gifted students. It grew out of the Hunter College Model School and assumed its current name in 1941. From its inception until 1973, Hunter College Elementary School was located at the Hunter College campus at 68th Street and Lexington Avenue.
