Bayliner is a manufacturer of recreational boats. Established in 1957 by Orin Edson, Bayliner currently has over 400 dealers in over 60 countries around the world. The company operates as part of the Brunswick Boat Group, a division of the Brunswick Corporation. Bayliner was acquired by Brunswick from Orin Edson in 1986 for $425 million.
The Boat Group makes Sea Ray, Bayliner and Meridian pleasure boats; Boston Whaler, Crestliner, Cypress Cay, Harris (formerly FloteBote), Lowe, Lund, Princecraft fishing, deck and pontoon boats. Brunswick is one of the largest boat makers by units in Europe, with Quicksilver, Uttern and Valiant boat brands.

In a 2010 review Steve Henkel wrote, "A large foretriangle and a blade-like small mainsail gives the appearance of a fast racer, but in reality the boat does not stand out as a particularly fast boat. Best features: Construction was quite good—better than the chopped strand” powerboats built by Bayliner in the early days.
