Lake Vyrnwy is a reservoir in Powys, Wales, created in 1888 by flooding the head of the River Vyrnwy (Welsh: Afon Efyrnwy) valley.The river flows from the dam into Shropshire where it converges with the River Severn near the village of Melverley on the Welsh border and outflows into the Bristol Channel.

Llwyn-onn Reservoir is the largest and southernmost of the three reservoirs in the Taf Fawr valley in South Wales. Cardiff Corporation Waterworks obtained an act of Parliament in 1884 to authorise construction of the reservoirs, to increase the water supply for Cardiff, but construction of Llwyn-onn Reservoir did not start until 1911 and was completed in the 1920s.
Llyn Dulyn (Welsh for 'black lake') is a lake on the edge of the Carneddau range of mountains in Snowdonia, North Wales.The lake is 33 acres (130,000 m 2) in extent and 189 feet (58 metres) deep.
