LunaOSS. • 8 mo. ago. AMD is adding opengl support for mesh shaders on RX >6000 cards "in the future", so we can expect compatibility with nvidium at some point. for now we'll have to stay with sodium or the vulkan mod which breaks a lot of other stuff. 8.
So basically: 1 - open nvidium.jar with 7zip, nanazip or winrar, doesn't really matter. 2- extract the contents of the jar 3 - find fabric.mod.json 4 - find the line where it says "depends": {"sodium": "x.x.x"} 5 - delete that dependency 6 - zip the folder back into a .zip file, but rename the file to .jar instead of .zip
Trouble Using Nvidium. Need Help - Solved. Currently using the following mods, all of which are on the newest stable release for 1.20.4: Fabric API, Sodium, Mod Menu, Bobby, Nvidium. Not using any shaders. The video settings tab completely lacks an Nvidium section, and the active renderer for Sodium on the F3 menu is simply reading "none ...
Without a very explicit intent to make oculus / iris depend on nvidium, there is no way in hell, that shader support is ever going to be happening. Even now - and since the mod was published, the modrinth page for nvidium has very explicitly stated, that shaders will not work with the mods rendering system
Forge 1.20.1 Alternative to Nvidium/VulkanMod. In short I was really hoping to use either of the 2 mods (in the title) however they seem to be Fabric only. The pack I was aiming to do was ATM9 however there isn't a Fabric port of it.Considering how Nvidium boosted my frames from 100 (with forge optimizers) to 1100fps - 1300fps with 1000ish lows ...
Hey, if i could get some help, whenever I have the nvidium jar file active (not even disabling it in the menu works, it still leaves remnants) any and all blocks and entities will not render. they still exist and can still be interacted with, but everything is completely invisible, no other effects other than the missing textures. if you'd like i can send you the mod list, and you can try for ...
I don’t use nvidium, but I’m pretty sure that’s not render distance, I think you just use normal render distance, but people commonly pair it with a mod called bobby that lets you set the render distance higher than 32. This setting is probably just keeping more regions loaded but not rendering them.
cellpower2. •. Using the Fabulously Optimized modpack with Nvidium and C2ME added, it is possible to get 200+ fps at 128 chunk render distance without using the Distant Horizons mod. (With a 2K144hz monitor, RTX 3090 and Intel i5-12600k) Note that Nvidium only works with 16xx series or newer Nvidia graphics cards. Reply reply.
Anybody know how to enable Nvidium with Iris shaders? Every time I turn on shaders, Nvidium disables itself. Is there a way to fix this, and have Nvidium enabled, while Iris shaders run? I am playing on 1.20.1, Java Edition.
Cached chunks mod that is persistent between reloads. I recently experienced the nvidium mod's exceptional render distance where the chunks you load in your session stay loaded out to 255 chunks, but if you reload or change dimensions all of the cached chunks disappear. My question is is there a mod that would "remember" what the chunks looked ...
