The N25 continues east to Wexford and meets the end of the N11 road which comes from Dublin and all the towns and villages including Enniscorthy at the New Ross Road Roundabout positioned west of the town. The N25 skirts the edge of the town around to the south and passes west of Tagoat and Rosslare to descend to reach Rosslare Harbour.

The main routes serving Rosslare Harbour are Bus Éireann Expressway route 40 which provides several services a day to/from Waterford via New Ross and the 387 to Wexford several times daily.
The station opened, as Rosslare, on 24 June 1882. Renamed Rosslare Strand in 1906. [5] Prior to track modifications in 1973 it was possible to access the Waterford line from both platforms. [6] A signal cabin was at the Wexford end of the main platform.
