A 400-berth marina is planned for Buccleuch Dock and the Barrow Island side of Ramsden Dock. The Marina Village which will be located between Buccleuch and Cavendish Docks will contain some 650 homes, numerous shops, restaurants and hotels. A multi-purpose stadium has also been proposed to occupy the eastern part of the Marina Village.
