Viking XPRS at Katajanokka terminal in Helsinki. MS Viking XPRS is a fast cruiseferry owned by the Finland-based Viking Line and operated on their service between Helsinki, Finland and Tallinn, Estonia. Her keel was laid on 16 April 2007 [8] and launching took place on 19 September 2007. [9] Viking XPRS entered service on 28 April 2008. [4]
Viking Line placed a bid for their main competitor, [19] but were outbid by the Estonian Tallink. [20] The first new ship built for Viking Line since Slite's MS Kalypso in 1990, MS Viking XPRS, had been ordered from Aker Finnyards in 2005, [21] in response to growing competition from Tallink on the Helsinki–Tallinn route.

MS Anemos is a cruiseferry owned and operated by the Greek ferry company Aegean Sea Lines.She was built in 1980 as Rosella by Wärtsilä Turku shipyard, in Turku, Finland, for SF Line, one of the owners of the Viking Line consortium.
Interiors of the ship were designed by Tillberg Design, a company that also designed the interiors of the 2008-built Viking XPRS. Onboard facilities were to include two restaurants, a two-deck high cafeteria, dance bar and conference rooms. Like Viking XPRS, Viking ADCC was designed with separate decks for freight and passenger cars. [4]
