The RPI Engineers men's ice hockey team is a National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA) Division I college ice hockey program that represents Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute (RPI). The Houston Field House is a 4,780‑seat multi-purpose arena located on the RPI campus. It opened in 1949 and is home to the RPI Engineers men's and women's ice hockey teams. The Field House was renovated starting in 2007 as part of the major campus improvement project to build the East Campus Athletic Village.
The 1924–25 RPI Engineers men's ice hockey season was the 22nd season of play for the program. The Engineers represented Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute and were coached b W. J. Cook in his 1st season.

For the first time since before the war, Rensselaer was left without a hockey coach. After the departure of Leroy Clark, the squad was ostensibly run by team captain John Reuther. He, along with the team manager, put together a normal slate of games for the Engineers and the team set about practicing once the weather became cold enough.
The 1984–85 RPI Engineers men's ice hockey team represented the Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute in college ice hockey.In its 6th year under head coach Mike Addesa the team compiled a 35–2–1 record and reached the NCAA tournament for the sixth time. [1]
