In a pie chart, the arc length of each slice (and consequently its central angle and area) is proportional to the quantity it represents.

Note that the default chart size and colors are used, and the value of "1" for the "other" parameter is only used for its "truth value" as a visible string—i.e., to say, yes, we want an "Other" entry in the legend (the same chart would result if "0" were used).
