Milira is the debut studio album by American R&B singer Milira.It was released by Motown Records on June 15, 1990, in the United States. Chiefly produced by Donald Dee Bowden, the album reached number 29 on Billboard ' s Top R&B Albums chart and scored two top 40 R&B singles, "Go Outside in the Rain" and a cover version of Marvin Gaye's "Mercy Mercy Me (The Ecology)."

Primarily based in Mumbai, Bhatinda and Shimla, the film tells the story of Aditya Kashyap, a heartbroken businessman who boards a train, where he meets a talkative Punjabi girl, Geet Dhillon. While they miss their train, Geet and Aditya begin a journey together to her home and what follows is a love that changes them.
Geet was born in Delhi to a traditional Indian family and was raised in Seattle, Washington, United States. She suffered a major spinal cord injury at the age of 10 in a car accident which left her paralysed. [3] She had initially dreamt of becoming a film actress, but the accident seemed to have dashed those hopes.

In 1966, Rahi composed his famous geet (song) "Dil ko umaal" (Outpourings of the Heart) for his mentor, the Garhwali poet Kanhaiyalal Dandriyal, who is said to have given him the sobriquet Rahi (traveller). [2] Rahi sang more than 550 songs in the Garhwali and Kumaoni languages. His work was available on more than 140 audio cassettes.
