UCAS Teacher Training, formerly the Graduate Teacher Training Registry (GTTR), is the subsidiary of UCAS responsible for student applications from graduates (and those about to graduate) to providers of Initial Teacher Training in the United Kingdom. Applications are filled out online via the UCAS website.
A trainee teacher will have to meet the Standards for qualified teacher status and any course specific requirements to be awarded the PGCE. In England only, a trainee teacher also has to pass the professional skills tests before starting a course. The training provider will then recommend the trainee teacher for QTS to the relevant body:

The University of Education, Winneba (UEW) is a university in Winneba, Central Region of Ghana. [1] It was established in 1992 by a government ordinance (PNDC Law 322) [2] and with a relationship with the University of Cape Coast. [3] Its main aim is to train teachers for the education system of Ghana.
It is also taken by candidates with some teaching experience who have received little practical teacher training or who wish to gain internationally recognised qualification. Candidates should have English language skills equivalent to at least C1 of the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEFR) or an IELTS score of 7.
In September 2002, a new Teacher Education Policy dubbed IN-IN-OUT was born, which followed a reform of upgrading teacher training colleges into diploma awarding institutions introduced in October 2004. [10] The college's student population has grown considerably over the years. Their enrollment, which rose to 280 in 1962, now stands at 1,387.
