Bluffton is a city in and the county seat of Wells County, Indiana, United States. [4] It sits on the banks of the Wabash River in the northeastern part of the state. The population was 10,308 at the 2020 census , up from 9,897 at the 2010 census .

It is located 30 miles (48 km) south of Fort Wayne, Indiana near Bluffton, Indiana. It was originally the Wells County State Forest and Game Preserve , formed in the early 1930s. In 1962. it became the Ouabache State Recreation Area , before finally achieving state park status in 1983.

John A. Grove House, also known as the Henry H. Hunsicker Residence, was a historic home located at Bluffton, Wells County, Indiana. It was built in 1891, and was a two-story, Queen Anne style frame dwelling. It featured a conical-roofed turret, steeply pitched hipped roof, and arcaded front porch.
