    Cintas IS an acronym. I believe Cincinnati Towel and Supply is correct, but I'm not certain. I used to work for the company and I do know that they were not trying to name it after a word in spanish (which loosely translates to "shoelace" by the way). Exxon is also an acronym, but I'm not sure what. Also, yes is was originally ACME Towel.
