Video Music Box is an American music television program. The series is the first to feature hip hop videos primarily, [3] [4] and was created in 1983 by Ralph McDaniels and Lionel C. Lionel C. Martin is an American music video director, film director and VJ from Queens, New York. [1] While he is known primarily as a music video director, he has also directed the films Def Jam's How to Be a Player (1997) and Longshot (2001).
