Jane Olivor (born May 18, 1947) is an American singer. After releasing five albums from the late 1970s through the early 1980s, her stage fright, anxiety over her rapid success, and her husband's illness and death caused her to take a 10-year hiatus. She released five more albums from 1995 through 2004.
The first song from the album to reach any of the charts in Billboard was a duet with Jane Olivor titled "The Last Time I Felt Like This" that was written for the 1978 film Same Time, Next Year [6] and was nominated for the Academy Award for Best Original Song but lost to "Last Dance" from Thank God It's Friday. [7]
Jane Fonda, who won the award for Best Actress for her role in the film Coming Home, gave part of her speech in American Sign Language, saying that making the film had made her more aware of the needs of the disabled, including the deaf.
