    Meanwhile, "push a button" is what I would understand as a button sitting on top of a table when a cat enters the scene and decides to shove it off the table for its own amusement. An associate corrected me today, stating it would in fact be "push a button" or else the song "Push the Button" would be grammatically incorrect.

    In the message list in Outlook 2016 for Windows, the backspace key surreptitiously archives the selected message (s). They should be in the "Archived" folder.     Anyway, my button isn't the problem. It's software related. Fixed the problem myself. The latest Win10 update somehow corrupted the "ACPI Fixed Feature Button" system driver. I uninstalled it, ran 'sfc /scannow' in an elevated command prompt and restarted my pc (which reinstalls the driver).
