ROMAG was developed from a wheeled system known as Monocab, originally designed by Edward Haltom and built to the extent of a test track by Vero Inc. in 1969. Rohr bought the design from Vero and converted it to the ROMAG, opening their own test track at their Chula Vista, California , plants in 1971.
110 Plaza, also known as the Commonwealth Building or the 110 Tower Building, is a 266 feet (81 m) modernist office building in downtown San Diego, Civic / Core Neighborhood. The building was occupied by San Diego Gas & Electric (SDGE) from 1968 to 1998, and then by SDGE parent Sempra Energy from 1998 to 2015. [3]In 2016, Mayor Kevin Faulconer announced a $128 million lease-to-own deal under which the city would acquire the building as-is from owner Cisterra Development and at the end of the 20-year lease own the building free-and-clear. The construction of the 380,000 sq ft (35,300 m 2) skyscraper began in 2003 and was completed in 2005. [2] It was the first new office tower in downtown San Diego in a dozen years. [3] The building was originally named Broadway 655. In 2007 Advanced Equities changed the name to Advanced Equities Plaza after signing a 10-year lease on the building.
The James R. Mills Building is a 120-foot (37 m) mid-rise governmental office tower in San Diego, California, United States. The building is alternatively known as the MTS Tower, as it is the headquarters of the San Diego Metropolitan Transit System (MTS). The building also houses various offices for the County of San Diego.
