When Im finished editing them I'll pump out some wallpapers. Some pretty badass Camaro's, mustangs, a SICK 61 impala with some eye candy , a CTS-V, a Cobra 427 kit car for your 21:9 enjoyment. Last edited: Sep 23, 2014. Sep 28, 2014. #37.
12. For resizing / cropping / photo editing use Adobe Photoshop (CC latest version). I have downloaded a lot of high resolution images from Hubble and Spitzer Space Telescopes and cropped them to them 3440x1440 format, resulting in some stunning wallpapers. Last edited: Dec 6, 2014. Dec 6, 2014.
Can anyone get a 3440x1440 HD wallpaper of a 2016 C7 Corvette ZO6 preferably in red? I just got to drive one for a day, after renting it in Las Vegas, and I must say I'm inspired to own one. Just need a nice shot for the desktop background to stay inspired, and continue to grow the business.

Big fan of the 38" ultrawide size for gaming and desktop use. The resolution of 3840 X 1600 is just so nice. I had the AW3820 and LOVED the size and shape but the picture quality sucked and looked washed out with light bleed. I traded it for the AW3423DW OLED and holy cow the OLED is ten millions better. Jesus Christmas it's night and day better.
Expanding the 3440x1440 to 5120x1440 is easier achieved. IMO 5120x1440 without scaling is a perfectly fine resolution for productivity. I had no complaints about desktop space when I had the Samsung CRG9, just wanted overall higher resolution. 5120x2160 will need to be scaled to something closer to 3440x1440 to be a nice size so you just get ...
However, the displaywars comparisons above vividly demonstrated how pathetically short "ultrawide" displays are. Therefore, saying that "3440x1440 will be much wider" is highly inaccurate. The correct assertion would be: "3440x1440 is woeful waste of pixels on the sides".
Set game resolution in the game what ever you want, you monitor will stay at 3440x1440 resolution while the game is rendered at a lower resolution but scaled to your monitor. I think you will be playing many games at 3440x1440 with good quality and frame rates. Some games maybe not but you do have viable options.
Looking up information on the web...HDMI 1.4 has a max bandwidth up to 10.2 Gbit/s. 4k @ 60hz requires 12.5 Gbit/s and 2560x1440 @ 60hz requires 5.6 Gbit/s. I couldn't find anything showing bandwidth requirements at 3440x1440 @ 60hz, but I calculate it around 7.5 Gbit/s.
32" Viotek 2560x1440@144hz. 34" Crossover curved 3440x1440@100hz *picture shows 144hz. you can do 144hz @ 2560x1080*. My rig: Phanteks shift ITX. ryzen 1700@3.7. gtx 1080 hybrid @ 2100mhz. SSD. 16gb ram. Im mostly looking for input from people who have used 144hz.
