So I have been having this issue for a few weeks now where my internet connection will seemingly just drop for about 5-10 seconds then come right back without me doing anything. Sometimes it will happen every few minutes and sometimes I can go days without an issue.

Right click on your Windows Start button and then click on Device Manager. In Device Manager, expand >Network Adapters by clicking on the little > arrow. Locate your WiFi adapter and right click on it. Uncheck "Allow the computer to turn off this device to save power". Click "OK".
