The third golf course was designed in 1976 by Ed Seay and Arnold Palmer. [14] Colorado Hall, the resort's second conference center, was built in 1982. In 1986, the resort closed Ski Broadmoor. The City of Colorado Springs and Ski Vail took it over in order to keep it open. It closed in 1991. [14]
