Michael Jerome Oher (/ ɔː r /; né Williams Jr.; [1] born May 28, 1986) is an American former professional football player who was a tackle for eight seasons in the National Football League (NFL). He played college football for the Ole Miss Rebels , earning unanimous All-American honors as a senior in 2008.
Michael Oher was homeless, adopted and then rose to football fame at Ole Miss. In 2009, he was drafted by the Baltimore Ravens, won a Super Bowl in 2013 and now he's a member of the Carolina Panthers.
