This is a list of schools in the City of Gold Coast in Queensland, Australia.Prior to 2015, the Queensland education system consisted of primary schools, which accommodated students from Kindergarten to Year 7 (ages 5–13), and high schools, which accommodate students from Years 8 to 12 (ages 12–18).
Southport State High School is a secondary school situated in Southport on the Gold Coast, Queensland in Australia. Southport State High School was the first public high school on the Gold Coast, celebrating its 100th centenary in 2016. Helensvale High commenced in 1990 with barely 200 students and a small staff, numbering 12, led by the inaugural principal, Rod Cassidy. Students came from a wide feeder area, as far north as Jacob's Well, west to Mount Tamborine and south to Gaven, as well as the rapidly growing Helensvale area.
As part of a 2013 trial, some schools implemented this transition early. 2013 was the last year Keebra Park State High School catered only for Year 8 to Year 12. [ 8 ] : 2 Since 2014, [ 9 ] : 3 the years levels currently offered at this school are Year 7 to Year 12.

Palm Beach Currumbin State High School is an independent public, co-educational, secondary school, located in the Gold Coast suburb of Palm Beach, in Queensland, Australia. [ 1 ] [ 2 ] It is administered by the Department of Education , with an enrolment of 2,649 students and a teaching staff of 198, as of 2023. [ 2 ]
