Pequot Lakes (/ ˈ p iː k w ɑː t ˈ l eɪ k s / PEE-kwaht LAYKS) [3] is a city in Crow Wing County, Minnesota, United States. The population was 2,395 at the 2020 Census . It is part of the Brainerd micropolitan area .
SuperValu retained a 46% interest in the new company, which Shopko later purchased in 1997. SuperValu founded the clothing store County Seat in 1973 and sold it to Carson Pirie Scott in 1983. The basement remained largely disused for decades, but in 1997 the Pequot Lakes Historical Society organized and developed the lower level into a local history museum. Exhibits are specialized on the 1930s and 1940s, with displays on military service as well as period recreations of a local classroom, kitchen, bedroom, and general store.
