Lake Fork Reservoir is a reservoir located in Wood, Rains, and Hopkins counties in the state of Texas, between the towns of Quitman, Alba, Emory, and Yantis, Texas. It was impounded by the Lake Fork Dam in 1980, and reached its normal pool surface elevation of 403.0 feet (122.8 m) above mean sea level [ 1 ] in 1985.

The Gust Laituri Homestead, in Valley County, Idaho near Lake Fork, Idaho, was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1982. [1] Another view. It was built by 1906 by Gust Laituri, who died in 1906. [2] It is a Finnish Log Structure in Long Valley, Idaho. It is about 15 by 30 feet (4.6 m × 9.1 m) in plan.
Lake Fork was laid out in 1881. [2] The community is named after Buffalo Lake , a now-vanished prairie wetland in southern Logan County on the upper reaches of the Lake Fork of Salt Creek . A post office called Lake Fork has been in operation since 1881.

The Matt Ruatsale Homestead in Valley County, Idaho, in the vicinity of Lake Fork, Idaho, was built in c.1915.The house was moved to its present location from the Ruatsale homestead site sometime prior to it being listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1982.
Lake Fork is a tributary of the Arkansas River in Lake County, Colorado. The river rises in the Holy Cross Wilderness north of Mount Massive in the Northern Sawatch Range of Colorado. [ 1 ] It flows through Timberline Lake and then through Turquoise Lake west of Leadville. [ 2 ]
