Nation (formerly The Capitol Ballroom) was a live music/club venue, located at 1015 Half Street SE, in the Navy Yard/Near Southeast neighborhood, of Washington, D.C.. It was larger than any other club in the D.C. area, with three levels indoors and a multi-level outdoor patio.
Founded in May 2005, [3] the flagship restaurant was named "Hank's" after fisherman Hank Wolfe Leeds, [4] the father of founder and chef Jamie Leeds. During the 2008 and 2009 seasons, the Nationals ran a free shuttle service (dubbed the "Nats Express") from parking lots at RFK Stadium to Nationals Park on game days. [17]
