The Mifflin County School District is a midsized, rural public school district located in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania.The district boundaries coincide with the boundaries of Mifflin County, minus the southwestern municipalities of Kistler and Newton Hamilton boroughs and Wayne Township, which are part of the Mount Union Area School District.
The Borough of Lewistown is served by the Mifflin County School District. It is also home to the only local Catholic Elementary school, Sacred Heart of Jesus , which educates children of any religion in grades K–5. Lewistown is home to the Pennsylvania State Fire Academy, which is the only such facility in the state.
Lewistown's athletic teams were called the Panthers and their colors were blue and white. The school's original colors were maroon and silver, but were changed after the break-up of Penn Highlands High School, as the new incarnation of Lewistown High inherited the blue and white sports and band uniforms of the defunct Penn Highlands school.

Indian Valley High School was a high school in Lewistown, Pennsylvania. It administered up to 1000 students. Its mascot was the Indian Valley Warrior. After districtwide restructuring the school was converted into an 8-9 junior high in 2011.

The Inez Johnson Lewis School, also known as Lewis-Palmer School District #38 Administration Building, is a building in Monument, Colorado. It was designed by architects MacLaren & Hetherington of Colorado Springs and was built in 1920. [2] It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1988. [1]
