North Notts College (previously North Nottinghamshire College) is a further education college in Worksop in the county of Nottinghamshire in England. It has 1300 full-time and 8,000 part-time students and 500 employees.
It was opened in 2014 as a 14 to 19 University Technical College, [6] but transitioned into an 11-18 free school in September 2018. [ 7 ] The school is a member of Nova Education Trust, [ 4 ] which provides the school with its IT systems and teachers.
The college renamed itself Vision West Notts in September 2011. [15] Shortly after, however, the college adopted its current trading name of Vision West Nottinghamshire College. The formal title is West Nottinghamshire College, as cited in the Ofsted report of June 2012, [4] [13] although it is often referred to as 'West Notts College'. [3]
As a result, the college became known as Rotherham College of Arts and Technology (RCAT). In August 2004, Rotherham College merged with the Dinnington-based further education provider, Rother Valley College. On 1 February 2016, Rotherham College merged with North Notts College to create a new education and training organisation, the RNN Group.
