Kim Kyu-jong [1] (Korean: 김규종; Hanja: 金奎鐘; born February 24, 1987) is a South Korean entertainer, actor, and a member of boyband SS501. He made his musical debut in Goong: Musical , [ 2 ] playing the lead role of Lee Shin, and debut as a solo artist in September 2011 with his mini album Turn Me On .
SS501 is a South Korean boy band consisting of five members: Kim Hyun-joong, Heo Young-saeng, Kim Kyu-jong, Park Jung-min and Kim Hyung-jun. [1] They debuted in 2005 with the EP Warning , which included their first number one song, "Never Again".
South Korean singer and member of SS501, Kim Kyu-jong has released 2 EPs, 5 singles, 6 soundtrack contribution songs, 1 collaboration song, and 5 DVDs. During 2005-2010, Kim has had three solo songs from SS501 albums: "Hikari" from Kokoro , [ 1 ] "Never Let You Go" from U R Man , [ 2 ] [ 3 ] and "Wuss Up" from SS501 Solo Collection . [ 4 ]
Heo together with Kim Hyung-jun were cast in the musical Haru. They performed the musical at the Meijijao Theater in Tokyo Japan from December 13 to the 25th featuring Kim Hyung-jun and Heo as Kang Young-won and Han Min-ho respectively. In January 2016, Heo reunited with Kim Kyu-jong and Kim Hyung-jun and grouped as "Double S 301".

The group debuted on 8 June 2005 with five members: Kim Hyun-joong, Heo Young-saeng, Kim Kyu-jong, Park Jung-min and Kim Hyung-jun. Although all the members moved to different agencies, after their contracts with DSP Media had expired in June 2010, the group has, according to its leader Kim Hyun-joong , not disbanded. [ 1 ]
