In regards to motion blur. Depending on the monitor, there may be no reduction in motion blur even w/ 360hz because HZ isn't everything, you have to look at the response time of the monitor as well and the technologies used. Take the PG259QN for example. At 360hz, the motion blur isn't all that better than a competing 240hz monitor.
The 360hz monitor has better input lag (1.7ms vs 2.3), but worse GtG response times compared to the Zowie XL2546K (AW2521H is like 3ms compared to Zowie's 1.7ms). But with a 5 meter passive hdmi 2.0 cable (monitor port is hdmi1.4 but i got 2.0 cable in case i need the cable in a newer monitor etc), I get sweet 144hz 1080p and freesync premium. I wouldn't call hdmi outdated. It just has its own use cases.
Processor>GPU for Valorant. If you are going to buy a 360hz monitor, you want to make sure that the least demanding game at least runs at it, otherwise the monitor is useless. If you can't run Valorant at 360fps, you're not going to be able to runn any other game 360 (unless your configs are weird or your cpu is a hard bottleneck).
Dell Alienware AW2521H - 360 Hz, 1080p, HDR10, IPS panel, 24.5 inch. I just received this monitor from DELL last week. It was on sale for $725. I love this monitor and I think it's one of the best gaming monitors I've ever owned. This is a beefy monitor and weighs more than I expected compared to my MSI 1080p 2nd monitor.
Not worth it at all, 240 is about as high as you would ever need and even that has varying opinions and depends on the circumstance. Additionally a jump from 60-120hz refresh rate is a more noticeable difference than going from 240-360, which is because you're going from a 100% increase to a 50%.
