I actually had a similar problem with my 240hz monitor a few weeks back when the max frame rate was for some reason 144Hz in both Settings and Nvidia Control Panel. All I did was doing the new updates I had in Windows Update Settings and Armoury Crate (a software where the updates for my Asus Rog Strix Motherboard and GPU are) and then I ...

  4. What do you think of 360hz monitors - Reddit

In regards to motion blur. Depending on the monitor, there may be no reduction in motion blur even w/ 360hz because HZ isn't everything, you have to look at the response time of the monitor as well and the technologies used. Take the PG259QN for example. At 360hz, the motion blur isn't all that better than a competing 240hz monitor.

  5. 360hz vs 165hz Monitor : r/buildapc - Reddit

    www.reddit.com/r/buildapc/comments/rnux4o/360hz_vs_165hz_monitor

The 360hz monitor has better input lag (1.7ms vs 2.3), but worse GtG response times compared to the Zowie XL2546K (AW2521H is like 3ms compared to Zowie's 1.7ms). Most pros like Tenz and Asuna don't use DyAc, and you see most pros have the XL2540/XL2546 since those monitors were the fastest during the time they came out (2017) and just kept it ...

Natorior. •. I personally don’t use a 360, but it is important to note that the more fps/hz you have the less noticeable upgrades can be. going from 60hz to 144hz offers a 9.73 ms improvement between frames. 144hz to 240hz offers a 2.76 ms improvement. 240 to 360 hz offers a 1.39 ms improvement.

240hz OLED: Blurriest but has zero artifacts / image quality issues. 360hz DyAc+: Clearest but has crosstalk (where you see the image twice kind of like ghosting. This is less noticable in games this test is designed to make these things more noticable. DyAc+ is blackframe insertion technology, it's the best in the industry thus far) 500hz IPS ...

But with a 5 meter passive hdmi 2.0 cable (monitor port is hdmi1.4 but i got 2.0 cable in case i need the cable in a newer monitor etc), I get sweet 144hz 1080p and freesync premium. I wouldn't call hdmi outdated. It just has its own use cases.

  9. 360 HZ Monitor Requirements? : r/ValorantCompetitive - Reddit

    www.reddit.com/r/ValorantCompetitive/comments/joxyj1/360_hz_monitor_requirements

Processor>GPU for Valorant. If you are going to buy a 360hz monitor, you want to make sure that the least demanding game at least runs at it, otherwise the monitor is useless. If you can't run Valorant at 360fps, you're not going to be able to runn any other game 360 (unless your configs are weird or your cpu is a hard bottleneck).

Dell Alienware AW2521H - 360 Hz, 1080p, HDR10, IPS panel, 24.5 inch. I just received this monitor from DELL last week. It was on sale for $725. I love this monitor and I think it's one of the best gaming monitors I've ever owned. This is a beefy monitor and weighs more than I expected compared to my MSI 1080p 2nd monitor.

  11. Is 360hz really worth it ? : r/buildapc - Reddit

Not worth it at all, 240 is about as high as you would ever need and even that has varying opinions and depends on the circumstance. Additionally a jump from 60-120hz refresh rate is a more noticeable difference than going from 240-360, which is because you're going from a 100% increase to a 50%.
