you might get some weird reactions from people initially, cause people act like a haircut is a huge symbolic thing. just ignore them and enjoy your awesome new short hair. god I miss my pixie rn, it was so cute and dried in like 5 minutes. only thing holding me back is that it takes me about a year and change to grow from a short pixie to below ...
It’s not even just that IMO, you also have to have highly feminine/delicate facial features. All of the girls in these pics do. That’s why someone like Anna doesn’t look good with a pixie cut even though she’s good-looking; her facial features are too strong, so very short hair just ends up making her look masculine.
As long as you have a nice jaw line. I tend to really like extreme hair cuts (either VERY long or VERY short) on people that are really short or really tall. One girl i know is 5'11" and ROCKS the pixie. She looks fabulous. Another friend at 5'0" had a pink pixie/faux hawk look going on that was also amazing.
Pixie cuts really defeminize women for me, and pixie cuts are equally as unnatractive as being morbidly fat, stupid, and hating Trump without being able to think about why. I dislike Trump for how bombastic he is, and how much time he spends on Twitter, but you need to have a thought out reason for why you dislike him, rather than just say "Oh!
Also, turns out my hair grows ridiculously fast, so I had to have trims more frequently to maintain the pixie cut and avoid a mullet. It really depends on the texture and thinness/thickness of hair. I suppose my point is that if you really do want to do it, then go for it--it's just hair. 1. Reply.
A little far but Spruce Hair Salon in Durham is great for this! They do a lot of pixie cuts and alternative styles. I had been struggling to find a place that does more than the can-I-speak-to-your-manager bobs for short hair and loved how they cut my hair! 7. Award.
A couple of thoughts based on having gone from long hair to pixie (and back) several times: As others have noted, you can really play with this cut + products to get some very cute looks. For inspiration google some celebs with their great pixie cuts. I'm old so my references are old: Jean Seberg, Halle Berry and Morena Baccarin come to mind.
Classics with Pixie Cuts? discussion. When I took the Kibbe Test, my results indicated that I'm in the Classic family (Soft classic) I checked out the recommended hairstyles and the length rules seem to be: avoid too boyish, avoid too long... so I'm guessing short to medium hair, like a bob or so. However, from viewing how I look in photos and ...
She decided to chop it off to get a pixie cut and dye it blonde. Some thought it was hot, but I just felt like I was fucking a 10 year old boy. Just depends on how the female wears it, and if the male likes it. I think it only really works if you are pixie sized and have a delicate look to begin with.
1 month of hair growth (since pixie cut): Expect sideburns growing out at least an inch. If you were to comb part of the top portion in front of forehead, the ‘bangs’ would reach mid-forehead or almost down to your eyebrows. 2 months: Sideburns long enough to tuck behind ears.
