Rama Rao Jr., Samantha, and Kajal Aggarwal while Prakash Raj and Srihari play pivotal roles. The film is produced by Dil Raju's Sri Venkateswara Creations. S. Thaman composed the music.
The film opened on 26 May 2017 across Tamil Nadu, alongside Samuthirakani's Thondan (2017).The satellite rights of the film were sold to Sun TV.The film received positive reviews, with a critic from The Hindu stating it is "a feel-good film that narrates tales of friendship and love" and that "it has got its vision and mission clear – to be heart-warming, funny and emotional at times". A remake of the 2010 Telugu film Brindavanam, [1] it was directed by K Madesh and produced by Suresh Gowda for Sri Seethabaireshwara Productions. [2] The soundtrack was composed by V. Harikrishna and the cinematography was by Ramesh Babu. The film was later dubbed into Hindi as Ghayal: The Power Man by Sumeet Arts in 2014.
