Founded in 1963, Bishop Lynch High School is a college preparatory school of the Catholic Diocese of Dallas. Bishop Lynch is the largest co-ed private school in the state of Texas with approximately 1,010 students and sits on a beautiful 22-acre campus in East Dallas.
As a college preparatory high school, Bishop Lynch provides a rigorous academic program for a wide range of learners. BL offers more than 120 classes, including Advanced Placement/Dual Enrollment, honors, regular, and essentials level courses.
In a typical year, Bishop Lynch High School gets nearly 600 applicants to the incoming freshman class. There are many recruitment events on campus like eighth-grade class visits; family tours; student shadow days; Coffee, Talk and Tour programs for parents; and the annual BL Sunday Open House.
Bishop Lynch High School is situated on a beautiful 22-acre campus in East Dallas just south of White Rock Lake. Campus amenities include the McGonigle Theater, the Leyden Arts & Athletic Complex, Roffino Stadium, and McIngvale Field.

Bishop Lynch celebrates community and cultivates belonging on campus. The House System brings students from all grade levels together to be a part of a house and mentor group for their high school journey. The house system has built a whole new level of student care, connectedness and camaraderie.
Bishop Lynch’s online application can be completed through Ravenna. Begin by submitting the Parent and Student application forms. The application fee of $100 must be paid online via credit card. Set up your Ravenna account to begin the application and submit the fee.
