Brandon is a town and civil parish in the English county of Suffolk. [1] [2] Brandon is located in the Breckland area of Suffolk in the extreme north-west of the county, close to the adjoining county of Norfolk. It lies between the towns of Bury St Edmunds, Thetford, Mildenhall, Downham Market and the city of Ely. [3]

Breckland is a local government district in Norfolk, England.Its council is based in Dereham, although the largest town is Thetford.The district also includes the towns of Attleborough, Swaffham and Watton, along with numerous villages and surrounding rural areas.
Santon Downham is a village and civil parish in the West Suffolk district of Suffolk in eastern England.In 2005 it had a population of 240. [2] The village is located within Thetford Forest on a meander of the River Little Ouse on the Norfolk-Suffolk border.
