Parrot Cay became a private island resort in 1998. It is located about 575 miles (925 km) south east of Miami, and can be reached by a 35-minute boat ride from Providenciales, the main island in Turks and Caicos.
YACHTICO was founded by Steffen Bruenn in 2010 and launched the yacht vacation booking platform in May 2011 in Germany, Austria and Switzerland with a European focus. [2] [3] YACHTICO started with almost 10,000 yachts operated by local charter companies mainly in Europe and in the Caribbean.
