Jacobs Music Center is a performing arts theater in San Diego, California. It opened in 1929 as Fox Theatre, a Gothic Revival–style luxury theater. It was conferred to the San Diego Symphony in 1984. The center is also the location of various youth orchestra concerts, including the San Diego Youth Symphony's, and a conservatory.
Balboa Theatre is a historic movie and vaudeville theatre in downtown San Diego, California, United States. It was built in 1924. It was built in 1924. When fire destroyed San Diego's Old Globe Theatre in 1978, the Spreckels hosted the Globe's 1978-79 season. In 2000, Colorado Cinemas Theatres acquired the Mann Theatres locations in Denver. Carmike Cinemas took over most of the Mann Theatres locations outside of the Denver area. The company ceased operation on December 27, 2011, with the closing of its last property, the Westlake Village Theaters, which was reopened as a Cinépolis .
