Bergoo is a census-designated place (CDP) in Webster County, West Virginia, United States. As of the 2010 census , its population was 94. [ 2 ] Bergoo lies at the confluence of the Elk River and Leatherwood Creek.

The William Boggs Farm is located in the Back Creek Valley of Berkeley County, West Virginia ner Hedgesville. The property was settled before 1750 by William Boggs, who may have been the first settler in the valley. A 1750 survey indicates that Boggs had 275 acres (111 ha) of land with a cabin. By 1766 Boggs had accumulated 527 acres (213 ha).
