Juan Miguel "Migz" Fernandez Zubiri (Tagalog: [hwɐn miˈɡɛl pɛɾˈnɐndɛs sʊˈbɪɾi]; born April 13, 1969) [2] is a Filipino politician serving as a Senator of the Philippines. He was the 24th Senate President of the Philippines from July 25, 2022 to May 20, 2024.

José María "Joey" Fernández Zubiri III (born April 30, 1963), commonly known as Jose Ma. Zubiri III or simply Jose Zubiri III , is a Filipino politician. He served as a Member of the House of Representatives of the Philippines , representing the Third District of Bukidnon from 2007 to 2016.
In the final tally for the 2007 senatorial elections by the Commission on Elections (COMELEC), Zubiri narrowly defeated Pimentel for the 12th and last seat in the Senate. Zubiri had a total of 11,005,866 votes against Pimentel's 10,984,347 votes. [14] On July 14, 2007, Zubiri was proclaimed as the 12th winning senator. [15]
