Under Sound, I have the Intel(R) Display Audio driver on version 10.27.0.12 dated 21/11/2021, and the Realtek(R) Audio driver on version 10.27.0.12 dated 05/07/2022. Hopefully this is enough info to provide another possible remedy. Thank you for your assistance thus far.

Download the driver > unpack it into a folder with an unpacker like 7-Zip > in the Device Manager >Intel High Definition DSP > Update driver > Browse my computer for drivers > Browse button and select the folder with extracted files from the CAB file > OK > Next > Close. Sometimes a restart is necessary afterwards.
