Real Esteli Fútbol Club is a Nicaraguan professional football club playing in the top flight of Nicaragua's league system, the Campeonato Nacional de Fútbol de Primera División. The club play out of their home stadium, Estadio Independencia , in the northern city of Estelí .

The Liga Primera de Nicaragua is the top division of football in Nicaragua, organized by the Federación Nicaragüense de Fútbol.It was created in 1933. The league is played in two parts, the Torneo de Apertura from August through November and Torneo de Clausura from January through May.

Born in Bluefields, [1] he made his debut for Deportivo Bluefields and played for América before enjoying a lengthy spell with Nicaraguan giants Real Estelí. [2] He was Estelí´s top goalscorer in the 2005 Clausura and Apertura with 11 and 16 goals respectively but after scoring only 7 in the 2007 Apertura he was relegated to the bench only for Bluefield to try to lure him back to the club.
