On June 1, 2022, Hot FM began playing Malay songs from the 90s every hour, effectively changed the radio format to hot adult contemporary radio station. On 2 July 2023, Hot FM claimed as the "number 1 radio station in Malaysia" with 3.8 million weekly listeners according to Nielsen’s Consumer and Media View (July 2022-June 2023). [3]
