  2. Socket size for sparks plug? - PriusChat

    priuschat.com/threads/socket-size-for-sparks-plug.167636

9/16" = 0.5625 inch. 14 mm = 0.551 inch. The difference is 2%. The correct size is 14 mm for either Denso or NGK. However if you have a 9/16" spark plug socket, you can use it. If you don't have a spark plug socket with the rubber lining, then it would be a good idea to buy a 14 mm spark plug socket.
