State Route 123 (SR 123) or Virginia State Route 123 (VA 123) is a primary state highway in the U.S. state of Virginia.The state highway runs 29.27 miles (47.11 km) from U.S. Route 1 (US 1) in Woodbridge north to the Chain Bridge across the Potomac River into Washington from Arlington.
The city of Fairfax is 8 miles (13 km) to the north, and downtown Washington, D.C. is 20 miles (32 km) to the northeast. According to the U.S. Census Bureau , the total area of the South Run CDP is 2.60 square miles (6.73 km 2 ), of which 2.53 square miles (6.56 km 2 ) is land and 0.066 square miles (0.17 km 2 ), or 2.52%, is water. Virginia State Route 234 (SR 234) is a primary state highway in the U.S. state of Virginia.It runs from U.S. Route 1 near Dumfries via Independent Hill as Dumfries Road, bypasses Manassas as Prince William Parkway, and has a brief concurrency with Interstate 66 for 2.27 miles (3.65 km) between exits 44 and 47 before continuing northwest via Catharpin to U.S. Route 15 near Woolsey as Sudley Road.
In 1930, NC 40 and NC 481 switched routes again, ending the second and the start of the third, from NC 48 in Roanoke Rapids, to NC 40 in Pleasant Hill. [2] In 1932, the third NC 481 was renumbered NC 40A. The fourth and current NC 48 was established in 1937 as a new primary routing from NC 48 in Glenview to NC 561 in Tillery. [3]

North Carolina Highway 96 (NC 96) is a 112-mile-long (180 km) primary state highway in the U.S. state of North Carolina. It is a predominantly rural highway that travels north-south, from NC 55 , west of Newton Grove , to the Virginia state line near Virgilina, Virginia , where it continues on as Virginia State Route 96 .
